Works Great
It exceeds my expectations. Works great, blasts air well, and is portable. I use it at home, in the garage, and in my cargo trailer. Regular extension cords fit fine and since I have several 20V batteries, they work just as well too. Yes, if you leave it on for several hours the battery will drain, what do you expect? Excellent dual power fan for Camping
Excellent product. Came new in original box. I bought this to use in my rooftop tent, and I'm sure it will be perfect. I have ran it for 8hrs at around the medium mark with no problems. But I have since used it in my bedroom, and in the garage. You can power it by plug if you remove the battery and purchase the plug. It's a pretty common plug though so I already had 1 laying around. I wouldn't say its light weight ny any stretch. But it's not super heavy either. It certainly won't blow over.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

DeWalt is getting better at giving you what you want.
It is as others have stated - very good. It's quiet, powerful and kinda heavy in a good way. T he weight aids in preventing tip over. Work harder to make Dewalt better and above the competition.
The Fan works well, however the carry handle on top does not give a good hold point or allow fingers to pass through.. Unit does not offer 120 volt auxiliary outlet when connected to a/c power. This is a mid level product that could use a few improvements.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great fan! Got it for SHOP WORK, but I keep finding advantages to batteries like CAMPING.
I already have a deWalt battery arsenal and needed something for my large workshop. I was tired of moving shop fans around to various workstations. Now, I just pop a battery in and take it with me. It does have an AC insert, so you don't have to use batteries when you're stationary near an outlet. My wife gave me crap for getting this fan when I could've gotten a 24" or 36" for the same price or less... Then we went camping in Texas. Also, we have land, so I can take it out to the field if I need to work on a water line or something with no fear of shock. In a more suburban setting, you could still find all kinds of uses on the back patio or working on a car in the driveway. They even let me bring it into a Rangers' game for personal cooling! The rest of my row was pretty glad for it, too. If you already have the deWalt batteries, just getcha one.
