VIN number was erased.
Never bought a ECU before so I didn't know what to expect. my Land Rover dealer said that ECU's were not interchangeable between Land Rovers because the VIN number is burned into the ECU however this ECU had the VIN number removed, so he could enter my LR2 VIN number and it workes fine. also my car passed NJ inspection which is why I swapped ECU's
