Revealing and clear imaging for your ears
The clarity of sound is ear opening, but for an original price of over US$1000, I would expect nothing less. However I was pleasantly surprised by the revealing nature of these headphones. The bass in games and music is clear and defined with no muddiness or muffling with increased volume. The treble is crisp and bright, but may need a little EQ in gaming sessions to prevent both fatigue and piercing gunshots and explosions. I find the overall definition of sounds is better than my LCD-GX and AUNE AR5000 in both music (rock mostly) and gaming (FPS mainly). I must just add that I drive my headphones through an AUNE S17 Pro amp so plenty of power, which could affect your experience.
