The mudrunner makes corners a breeze. It is much easier to use than a corner box as well as faster. It takes thin mud like the bazooka, but it glides over the corners with ease. It takes a little trial and error, to get the mud the right consistency thin enough to ooze out, but not shoot out. It also takes some practice to get a match on how fast to travel and how much to open the valve. This tool will speed up the job. Oil the plunger and handle and it works great. Chech out the drywall doctor on YouTube, he gives helpful pointers.
If ever there is a tool to replace corner applicator boxes this is it. Gone are the days of having to manually apply pressure to apply mud for finishing corners. The mudrunner does this with a twist of the handle due to its built in gas piston. All you have to do is apply light pressure for your corner finisher.
It’s a must have for any drywall finisher.
