Battery powered Water Pik is OK,
This battery powered water pik has 2 speeds. The slower speed is still almost too strong for me, I purchased this to be able to take when I go overnight someplace. I recently had full dental implants that really need a water pik to keep stuff out from under them. I can't take the one plugged into the wall with me. One big problem I had was getting the batteries in the correct directions. The + and - were so small that I had real problems finding them. Good buy--works well; no need to keep it plugged in, since it uses replaceable batteries.
Pro: it's operated by replaceable batteries (AAA cells) rather than by a rechargeable battery; once the rechargeables stop taking a charge, you have to scrap the whole unit. With this one, just replace the batteries. Con: the two-speed switch is a little hard to operate: if you want to use the lower speed, you slide a switch to the first "click", but it's hard to get it just right and you (or at least I) often slip past the first one to the second stop. Waterpik Waterflosser Cordless is easy to handle
I just received this today and I've used it twice to get the hang of using it. The only drawback is that the water is very limited for using but it states that it has 30 seconds of water supply. I love the fact that it's small enough to fit in my cabinet since I'm very limited on counter space. This water pik works very well. I use low setting because high is too strong. The price was excellent and I love the fact that it’s battery powered. You will love this water pic
I love it. I also like it runs on 3 small batteries whih are supplied (sister in law said they last forever) No low power and weak power because and having to constantly recharge, plus tjhe internal battery will eventually not recharge and then its a throwaway, I still floss and brush, and use this last and it still removes more for sure !
