Product Information

In movies creating one of the most iconic horror authors of all time, storms and evil frequently go hand in hand. This is the case in the 2014 DVD release of 'Stephen King's Storm of the Century' which offers not one, but three chilling movies. The featured movie was a TV miniseries in 1999. It takes place in Little Tall Island, where a brutal murder has just occurred during a blizzard. As the story progresses, the sheriff must determine how to deal with the killer's bizarre demands, which involve the town's children. 'The Shadows' tells the story of five friends stranded in a lighthouse during a storm. The third movie, 'Sheltered,' involves a storm, a group of people on vacation, and a madman whose home they take shelter in. When watched together, the movies have a total running time of roughly 7 hours.
