34mm mikunis for a 1972 T120
i've run mikuni 32mm carbs on my old T120 for thirty years, with absolutely no problems except a float needle that began seeping after 29 years. no other problems, zero. a month ago i broke one carb trying to get the float arm pin out (unnecessary) so i bought two new 34s from niche cycle. the quality is mikuni--impeccable, well-made, no debris inside, nothing missing. the fuel inlet has been enlarged to about 1/4-inch, bigger than the old ones i have. the cable ferrules are larger than the old ones, but work fine, or i can transfer the smaller ones. the old machined brass float bowl drains have been replaced by cast aluminum ones. no complaints-- the carbs are delivered rich, as they should be, but mikunis are so easy to tune correctly that this is not in any way a criticism. i'll step down the pilots to where they run correctly, find the correct needle jet/needle, then work with the mains until it's right. all this will take no more than an afternoon. literature for tuning mikunis is available everywhere, including starting settings for about anything you might want to put them on. niche cycle's service is essentially instantaneous, and they supply jets, needles, and various other mikuni OEM components in a variety that nobody else can match, including sudco. i don't buy from anybody else anymore. these carbs are inexpensive, compared to the TM flat slides (which are not very high, either) and the needles, jets, and slides from my 32s slip right in, whereas the TMs use shorter needles and a different needle jet series. i have new 26mm mikunis on my T150, and i'll be buying components for those from niche cycle as well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is not a direct replacement carb for many motorcycles.
Been on vacation haven't had time to install it. I will be mounting it on a 1974 XL350 Honda. I think the only problem I have run into is finding a throttle cable that is a plug and play.
