I've always wanted to get a pickup truck but was turned off by all the rusted out ones I saw driving the roads here in Kansas and Missouri. I hate rust and knowing that any truck I owned would look like the ones I always saw made me hold off on buying one for years. When I found a 2009 F150 in great, rust free shape at a very good price, I jumped at the chance to buy it. I later joined the F150 forum and asked what people were doing to prevent their fenders, wheel wells, and quarter panels from rusting. Someone posted the husky liner link, so I checked out the site and found that they were easy to install, gave a factory fit appearance, hid the ugly frame rails and best of all helped keep the under side of the truck clean. I ordered a set and when they arrived I opened them up and immediately began reading the instructions. The instructions, I felt made the installation sound too easy, so I decided to find an installation video online. After I watched the video I decided to see if I could get them on as quick and easy as the guy in the video. I managed to get the driver side installed in about 15 minutes with no major problems aside from getting used to bending them into the fender well. The passenger side took a little bit longer and due to a rod that's attached to the fender being in the way it doesn't fit as nicely as he driver side did but it fits. All in all the total installation time took me roughly about 45 minutes. I showed my brother in law and he loved them, so now I have to give his wife the address because she is going to get him a set for Christmas. I would definitely recommend these to a friend and I'm very happy with them, they make the rear end look much cleaner and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for helping me stop the rust.Read full review

Pretty easy to install. You need to drill two holes in the seam of the truck bed flange for each liner. This is below the floor of the bed, so screws will not show. Would have been nice to have included a small bottle to rust proof the holes drilled for screws. If you have the factory fender flares you have to pull out two of the factory plastic push fasteners on each side to install screws in fender well.

Installing was a little trouble with the mold width one inch too narrow in order to make contact seal from bed weld seam to outer fender flare. Had to put standoffs to allow liner to seat against fender flare. Wish their were more contact spots to bed weld seam as 2 are bare minimum. Other than that it works great.

Fit was not quite exact. Two predrilled holes ok but lower front edge had to be trimmed to fit into fender corner where stabilizer rod is attacthed. Used fluid film on all screws when installing. Once installed all looked good.
