Will probably buy another for a spare. Appears to be an actual OEM replacement and not a knock-off or off-brand. Not quite the same life as my original (and its replacement bought from LG directly), but it is within the acceptable decay range, and you have to factor in that it's no longer produced and has sat on a shelf for a while. Time will tell how long it actually lasts. Shipped in a padded envelope, which is perfectly fine in most cases except if you got a dumb postman with a small apartment mailbox who decides to jam it in (this happened to me before, thankfully resulting in just a leak and not a fire).

The product looks solid, the only drawback is the performance of the battery. It always drops from its full charge from 100% to 75% within the first 30 minutes of use. This leads me to think that either the battery is defective or the quality of the product is not fully there. Normally it should not discharge at this rate. After the 75% mark, the discharge seems to be ok, so far. Thanks Eric

I would not recommend buying this product because it's not better than your old, used battery. I used it just for a week or so and bought another one from powerbear for 6500 mAh and I can say even that thing is good only for 12-16 hours. In that time 1 hour of video conference, 1 hour video game and 2-3 sms messages and 1-4 calls 5-10minutes duration. At the end you will have from 16-40% left.

I should have known - I looked at other negative reviews, but ordered this battery anyway. It looks real, but clearly, is not. It lasts less than 1/2 a day, and will lose 60% of its charge overnight, when the phone isn't doing anything. I tried running it down, charging it up - still nothing. Save your money, and buy a real battery from the OEM.

The battery offers weird power. Sometimes it will plummet to zero from 40% all of a sudden. Then when you plug it in it says 38%. So it isn't very reliable. I had it as my alarm which didn't go off because of this situation. So a decent backup but not a reliable primary. Too bad. Though it wasn't expensive...but I would have paid more for reliability if that was an option.
