THE BEST RECORDING AVAILABLE!
This 45 Audiophile edition of this album IS BY FAR The Best Recording of the album EVER! I have had 15 different versions of this album over the years including the MOFSL 33 and this even bests that!! It is wide open and dynamic with a soundstage that puts Knopfler in your listening room with you! If you have a system that will resolve the additional info on these discs then I 100% recommended it! Sounds like the first time.
Pros Wow! I have owned several copies of Brother's in Arms over the years, but this is like listening to it for the first time. Unbelievable sound quality. I cannot wait until the tracks are polished out a bit.I am sold, thanks to the engineers who are bringing back quality to the world through MOFI. Cons Polishing over time is required.There are a few hisses and pops on the new vinyl and it must be cleaned and played on a quality cartridge a few times. Update: The LP has cleaned up very nicely.
