New electrolux oven igniter
My 6 year old Frigidaire , oven stopped working, I ordered a new Electrolux igniter , it was super easy to replace, it took about 10 minutes, bottom line is it works better than new, and I now don't need to buy a new range, I highly recommend this product to anyone who is experiencing oven problems, not lighting, not achieving proper temperature, or gas odor. Great replacement oven igniter!
This replacement igniter worked great in my Frigidaire FGF326ASC. It came with the ceramic wire nuts for installation. This splice was ok, but if I had the chance you could rewire the igniter to replace the original with a high temp disconnect and a high temp bullet (not sure of the size/type) that goes inside the original connector. Overall, make sure you cut the wires 2" longer than you think you need to allow for the splice with the ceramic nuts to flex a bit. Great Igniter with the best price!
When the original manufacturer of my oven decided to refer me different directions in regards to never ending searches of part numbers, I researched as much information on general igniters. Then I realized that there are only two different types and one must be aware of the one being replaced. So EBAY searches led me to numerous sellers and items that qualifies. Part works perfectly!
Frigidaire oven was taking forever to heat up because of the faulty ignitor. Replaced with this OEM part and it lit in seconds and heated up like it was new. No problem clipping the wires and using the included ceramic wire nuts. It was much faster than digging deep into the oven to get to the plug. Just clip and connect one corresponding wire at a time. Picture is of first light and flame catching around the burner.

Now I get to Enjoy Baked Goods Again!
My wife had been complaining that her gas oven was taking a loooong time to both start up AND heat up-- and once it did she said it sounded like a Vega with a bad idle. She was fed up using it and went on strike. I got hungry. I got busy. Upon initial investigation I found the igniter was on it's last leg. Gas Oven Ignitor Replacement
Works perfectly! Original, factory-installed ignitor finally failed on my 2002 Whirlpool Gold Series 30” slide-in gas range. Replaced with this part and my range is back in action! It’s been installed for a month now and I’m very happy with it. I suggest pulling out the old, fried ignitor and taking a look-see - it’ll be round or flat shaped. Then, do an internet search for like and kind. It’s such a generic part, if it looks the same, it should work just fine. There are no instructions, but YouTube videos make the install procedure easy-peasy. I simply clipped off the old ignitor plastic plug-ins & wired the wires to the 2 bare wires on the new ignitor; using my own wire-connectors & shrink-wrap tubing - about 17” away from the ignitor, located thru the range’s back panel wall. I re-used the old-wiring insulation - it must have been installed for a reason. Then I screwed the ignitor back in - fired it up & couldn’t help smiling at the quick-fix that just saved me thousands of dollars on the purchase of a new range. Oven igniter.
Oven igniter worked perfect in my Maytag range, although I knew that I would need to remove it from the new bracket and install it in my original bracket. The new bracket was not the same as the original. Again, I knew this from the start. I just needed the igniter. The igniter was exactly the same as original. EXACT REPLACEMENT
Whirlpool Gas Range Oven was taking 3 minutes or more to light. This was causing uneven baking temps and extended baking times. Now it lights in 30 seconds and baking is back to normal. Great purchase, I will buy again, as theses igniters last only 3 to 4 years in heavy uae.
