Solid infusion pump with lots of features
I have used numerous infusion pumps in my practice, and the Medfusion 3500 is my favorite. It is highly customizable and handles a wide range of syringes and medications. The pharmguard can be programmed and catches errors and dosing limits. In addition there is a large library of programming. I also enjoy the anesthesia settings that allow override of the preset limits. These pumps are work horses and in my opinion outperform the Baxter InfusOR and AS50 for the reasons above. It is particularly useful when working with both adult and pediatric patients, as they syringe sizes are adaptable unlike the InfusOR. (Granted I have seen many people use the InfusOR without the proper size syringe, which affects the dose delivered.) Great pumps for use in anesthesia.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
