    Great if you want to get rid of points.

    - Old distributor points need regular cleaning and adjustment. They make your ignition quite vulnerable. This unit will turn your distributor into a maintenance free device. - You just pull the distributor rotor off the shaft end, remove the points and condenser. Module fits right in, hole position matches your distributor's perfectly. Magnet ring slides in snug on the shaft, and goes over the cams with a tight fit yet you don't need to force it in. - The module does NOT interfere with the ignition advance. There is enough play for the advance to work before the module hits the wires coming out of the distributor body. You will understand this sentence once you are doing the actual installation. - Engine fired right away, I did not even have to modify the timing. Overall I am very pleased and I don't know how someone can live with distributor points these days.
