After purchasing a budget suspension rod kit for my Whirlpool Cabrio washer, I have to be cautious about recommending this kit. The reason is that the budget suspension rod kit failed immediately, and I had to spend the money for an OEM quality kit. That may not be fair, this is a different set of parts, but one bad apple (experience) affects the rest The shaft, bearings, and tub seal seem to be of good quality. but I'm still not sure if they meet OEM standards. Time will tell the tale on that. The parts all installed smoothly, and are functional, but, again, the true test is how long they last. I was disappointed to see the sealant and grease came in unlabeled, generic tubes, so I had to squirt out some to see what was what. Not good. This item was a great supplement to my first kit that let me re-use most of what I had to re-do the repair correctly. Bought this to fix a Cabrio that was given to me for free because it wasn't washing properly anymore and they didn't have the time to repair it. this kit was more money than the "quality" bearing kit but it is oem and hopefully will hold up better than knockoff brands..it had everything i needed but i watched a youtube video to do the job right rather than try and figure out the written directions that came with the kit...it took me most of a morning but i also did a lot of cleaning while i had it apart..if your mechanical ability is fairly good go ahead and get this kit and save yourself a couple hundred dollars and you still have the special tool for the next time...washer is so quiet now you wonder if its even running compared to the 747 airplane sound it made before

Full disclosure, since I don't know where Whirlpool sources their bearings, but these had engraved made in China, same as the last set/kit I replaced three and half years ago in 2020 that weren't OEM which btw looked extremely similar. Only time will tell, but it did fix my problem.

Great value and not really that hard to assemble. Less than 2 hours from start to finish and no special tools are required. The bearings placed in easily with a block of wood and a hammer, being careful with the alignment and a piece of pvc worked well for the seal placement. The bearings have already started roaring within a month mainly because they are Chinese brand cheap material made bearings. The manufacturer would like to blame it on the installation as the problem but I can assure you that it takes a few special tools and years of knowledge to stand by my workmanship knowing it was installed correctly. So good luck finding American made bearings or throw the washing machine away with new one!! I know I installed the bearings and seal correctly!!! So be it!!!!!!!!
