  • Good quality, good price

Considering that a new, complete 360/380 polaris cleaner will cost upwards of $500, this is a bargain only if you have the patience to disassemble and reassemble the body. The parts are OEM, well made and fit perfectly. If the enclosed diagrams aren't plain enough, there are several good YouTube videos that will help. I found that our cleaner lasted about 5 years with everyday use- it's a saltwater pool- and the main things to deteriorate were the bag, the bearings, tail scrubber, wheel tires and belts. These items are all in the rebuild kit.

  • Really Amazing results

shipped fast, amazing new life for my pool cleaner. Climbs all walls to the top now and functions like new. If your backup valve is working (mine was) and outer body / case is good , (mine was color faded but in good condition); then likely no need to go to the $250 kit. Instruction are not great on either kit, but once installed the results are just amazing. Cleaner Performs like NEW!

  • Much cheaper than a new one!

The Polaris OEM parts are of good quality. It does take a little time to change out all the parts however it is very much worth it to me as I have this thing operating just about everyday. I do my own pool service and the Polaris helps me only have to clean the filters about every two weeks instead of weekly so this bad boy gets a workout. The last tune-up kit lasted about 2 years. The only thing I wish it included was the backup valve. Oh well, we can't have everything right? It arrived on time and in good shape. Go ahead get it! It's truly not that hard and there are tons of videos on YouTube to assist. Just go slow and follow the instructions; takes about an hour.

  • excellent value

I was looking at replacing my 380 Polaris drive head and ran across the tune up kit on E-bay for 1/3rd the price. In my opinion, the name is mis-leading as it contains almost every moving wearable part in the system...I would consider it of more a rebuild kit, and am extremely impressed with the results. It took about 2 hours to complete and now works flawless. I would highly recommend this product as a solution for heads that have traction and issues remaining upright.

  • My pool cleaner works like new now!

I thought all the parts looked a little intimidating, but it was easier than it looked and our pool cleaner works like brand new now. Out pool cleaner was about 5 years old and this "tune-up" kit should help us get another 5 years out of it. Much cheaper than buying a new one.

  • Polaris 360/380 Pool Cleaner Factory tune-up kit

I thought the kit was of good quality and the directions were clear. Price was right. However, I did notice that it was not complete. The two axle block parts were not included in the kit that I purchased and arrived at my house. I really didn't need them as the original parts were still usable but it is annoying looking for parts that you expect to be there. Otherwise I rebuilt the unit without incident and am looking forward to the spring to actually see if the unit performs as new. Thank you. Nick

  • Great product

I wasn’t sure if I would be able to rebuild my Polaris 380 but decided to give it a try. There is not a good utube video for this, but I was able to successfully rebuild it in about 2 hours. The directions that come with the kit are not very good, but it is fairly logical. I watched a video on replacing the belts which allowed me to see how to open up the unit and see how the belts should look (mine were broken and bunched in the bottom). Be sure to take lots of pictures before and during the tear down so you know which way the bearings should face and how the gears look, etc when you put it back together. My unit

  • Great alternative to replacing your broken vacuum

Replaces all the the parts that are prone to wear. Fairly easy if you have done it before. If not, it will might take a little longer. The instructions weren’t all that helpful. The exploded view helped but didn’t show much detail. I got on line and was able to blow up the image where I could see it better. The small axle shaft can be easily reversed which will not all the gear to turn. I would definitely still highly recommend the kit. It adds years of use to your vacuum at a far reduced price of total replacement.

  • Polaris 380 Rebuild Kit

Kit is great. It has all the components that "I" needed to rebuild my Polaris 380. I rated the kit a 4 star because (like many others have commented) the instruction sheet is lacking in specific details on how to rebuild the 380. After watching YOU TUBE to figure out how to rebuild, my 380 (nicknamed "FRED") was climbing the walls and floor again like it was brand new! I would recommend the kit for weak 380's that the wheels stick and lock up to make it like new again.

  • Like new, again. 😎

Polaris runs like brand new. Not too bad on the assembly. Saves a bit of money. This is the second time I’ve rebuilt my Polaris .
