I was hoping to find an MP3 player with the same ease of use as my old ipod which has lasted me over 10 years. (It still works but the battery only lasts about 3-4 hours ) which is still pretty good. However, I just could not figure out the new guy. And there were no how to videos on YouTube, only videos discussing the features. It was only $50 and I liked a lot things about it, but just couldn't figure it out. So I broke down to shell the $300 for this bad boy and could not be happier. If you are shy with technology, then this is awesome. Afterall, if it lasts another 10 years, that's only $30 a year. I can live with that. I do have one caveat. If you are trying to merge this with your old macbook, it may not work. It did not recognize my 2011 macbook. Luckily it did recognize my newer PC. (which I did not know that you could now do that. So awesome) Because most of my recordings are self made or burned from CDs,I did have to transfer my iTunes library to the PC via a usb stick. So there was a little bit of a learning curve on getting the iPod set up...but I could not be happier with the investment. I understand Apple getting rid of the product but I hope they reconsider. Maybe by the next 10 years, someone else will have figured out how to make a user friendly MP3Read full review

The iPod is easy to use once you get used to it (as with everything). This is my first Apple device, being a dedicated Android user for years. I am impressed with the sound quality, the available space, and the overall design. Audio, video and camera usage in addition to online access makes this super-convenient and much smaller than a typical smart phone. I use it while walking, exercising, cleaning, etc. The earbuds are cheap, so if you want comfort, buy your own earbuds. Handles Bluetooth flawlessly. Obviously, anything done on the Internet required wi-fi access.

Good value if you get a pre-owned one. Save 50% off new. Works just as well. Poor battery life. Has A10 Chip and is pretty fast. Compatible with latest iOS software updates.

Using it for listening to Books on Tape primarily. Compact, fits anywhere. Bluetooth works great with ear buds. Decent battery life with warnings when low. Have had a generation 5 for years and now the generation 7. Larger memory, faster processor and larger storage capacity. Takes good pictures if desired. All around a good product and eliminates the need to put everything on my phone and just work with this small footprint.

Quality is amazing, sound is amazing, especially with air pods, battery is satifactory, depending on your settings and what you're using this device as.Apple could of made this model a bit larger, size hasn't changed since the debut of this ipod model.Overall, being a Gen X'er,I'm quite happy. My main use is the music, audio quality is great for my genre of music, ie..the Clash,The Jam,1st wave of brit shoegaze( Lush,My Bloody Valentine, Swervedriver)and the Sub Pop NW indie( the Shins,FleetFoxes,Iron and Wine)

I really love this iPod very much!!! But it is not getting iOS 16 along with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus which does not make sense at all. All A9 and A10 iPads are supported and they should have just dropped the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and iPhone SE first Generation. Maybe Apple will bring back the iPod line and release an 8th Generation iPod Touch with all touchscreen and Face ID support like the iPhone X and later do!!!

Overall a good replacement for an old iPhone 6 I am as using as just a music player. It has more storage than I had previously and am able to keep more songs, photos and videos on my device. I also use it as my home management tool to control lighting and monitor my garage door. As it was refurbished the battery does not last real long but that is not an issue for me as I usually keep it plugged in most of the time.

fair battery life, not long, way too many crapps on it, apples inability to sync with ease to win media player stinks. If you like last years tech at next years price its great. It isn't all bad though. The ear buds that came with it are pretty good quality, the ease of getting music through iTunes is nice. If you want a player that is almost like a phone this is a good choice. If you want a player just for music then look on for less expensive alternatives, there are better music players. The iPod does sound great through quality(NOT Beats) headphones.

7th gen ipod touch is still a great music player/tiny iPad. Beautiful space gray with t h e darker back finish I love. I got a good price for a like-new iPod! 4 inch super sharp screen, comes with a nifty software equalizer. The ear buds that come with it still impress me for their clarity. Can't go wrong even in 2020 with the 7th gen iPod touch. It's a treasure.

I'm still trying to figure out this device. It doesn't detect the bluetooth in the family Ford Escape, using the auxiliary cord to play the iPod through the vehicle, the vehicle volume has to be turned up almost full blast to hear it. I can't use my Itunes account on the app to purchase music. I've got a little bit of a gift card to use up; but the only form of payment accessible is through my ICloud account; and I can't change it. Battery life is "so-so". Other than not being able to figure out how to take off music previously in the Music app (I didn't purchase or download 11 U2 songs, but they're there, nevertheless. There's also no operations manual to download; just a 4-page regulatory pamphlet. other tha that, it's almost another phone; and I do like that it synchs with my iPhone.Read full review
