This is the first cell mounting device that works for me in terms of location. I always had trouble with other devices because my cellphone ended up in awkward points where it was hard to reach and/or see (due to the layout of my car), but this one mounts my cellphone withing reach and sight. It's easy to use, and placing the phone is really easy, same as taking it out. It stays in place and is sturdy. I'm very pleased!

Way better than the holders with the vent Cone. It has been very difficult finding the perfect holder for my phone. This one is good except that it won't work well with a case on. A thin case will work. I really dislike having to change my life for the sake of a cellphone holder. I have a Lg v10. I would also prefer to keep my phone out of the sun. I hid $20 for the Hug Buddy but every time you hit a bump in the road the Cone holder flies out of the vent. I just keep looking. And wasting more money.

I received my cell phone holder and past reviews were right that there are no instructions only pictures on the box of how the installed product should look. The cradle back has a button in the middle. there are two holders on the side and two knobs that one pushes in for the holders to open. There is a gapped holder at he bottom where the bottom of the phone rests and I push the phone back against the button on back which closes the two holders o the side to lock the phone in place. The box says one hand operation which it is after practicing a few times with it. Behind the phone is a knob one turns to tighten the phone to a landscape or portrait position. There is a metal holder that one slides into the a/c vent that is attached to a spring that keeps it in place firm enough so far. The price is good at what I paid $6.89 less then the $14.99 of a similar phone holder. If the phone holder is still good by December I will buy a few of these as a good practical gift.
