Badass speaker if you don't know you better ask somebody
Bought a series one ue wonderboom and have been a fan since day one! Once I found out you can sync the speakers together. I've been interested in purchasing an additional speaker. I've done my due diligence on the research and settled on series 2. Seems the only benefit to the third generation is a little bit more battery life. That's not enough to justify the third generation considering I wanted something to compliment my first generation speaker so I purchased the second generation. It syncs up with the first generation speaker flawlessly and they sound amazing together!!! I couldn't be happier with my purchase! Extremely fast shipping. Overall I would say the combination of size, sound and cost simply can't be beat.
This is a great little speaker. Certainly some bigger ones will have better sound but this one does sound great. The size is perfect for carrying around to various locations as you work or play. Best little bluetooth speaker of the year
. The professional reviewers rate this speaker as the best for the money. It's got really great base as well as the rest of the sound range. It also pairs instantly (at least for me) I bought 1 for myself, and then one for my daughter (christmas gift) and another for myself. I has to look online to find the directions but if you push the center bottom for a few seconds on the 2nd speaker it goes into stereo mode - a great option. Great sounding wireless/Bluetooth speaker
This a an awesome speaker with great sound-especially bass response. It also has a loudness setting for use outside that increases volume and bass response. It also floats and can get totally wet. Easy setup. Simple controls on top and volume adjust on front. Highly recommend

Not quite as useful as expected
It is extremely difficult to see when plugging in the micro charging cord. The swinging door is kind of in the way, too, making it even more awkward. It would be really nice if it had a wall outlet for charging instead of just the USB cord. It takes HOURS to charge (before the indicator light finally goes out)...way more than the 2.6 hrs stated by UE so the user has to be tactical about having it charged and ready to go before it's needed for several hours. Even with its volume maxed out and the 'outside' button activated, I can't hear it nearly as far away from it as I thought I'd be able to.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

One is great, two are better
The sound is great for a speaker its size. Obviously it can't produce booming bass, but it does what it can do very well. The small round shape makes it a joy to hold and easy to tuck away in a bag. The small stretchy loop on top is easy to loop a finger through to hold or to use to hang somewhere. Syncing two of the speakers is a surprisingly enveloping experience. By default they both play both left and right channels, letting you seamlessly roam between them. Switching them to stereo mode to separate right and left creates a surprisingly rich sound stage - due the the 360-degree design, you almost always feel like you're in the "sweet spot".Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Meets my needs
At first it sounded bad as cheaper products, like in a barrel, but I downloaded a music app with equalizer controls and it made a huge difference. Am happy with it now for music. Could use a volume setting between low and really loud though. For podcasts, could be better as the bass resonates too much.
