Not same as original
I'm a little critical on this purchase due to shipping issues but here goes , the plug is similar to OEM but there is a index slot in the plug that's offset on the original and the index slot is centered on the replacement so "the new plug will not fit a OEM sending unit" . The new sending unit and plug appear to be good quality and are working correctly so far, the replacement plug has about 6" lead wires and it came with the butt connectors and shrink tubing needed to complete the installation and the new plug fits the new sending unit securely. I don't have much drive time on the new sending unit yet but it is working correctly.
