Auto dark isn't dark enough
Good, but with one critical caveat. The auto dark at it's highest setting isn't dark enough. I still feel like I've been looking at a flash bulb when I use it. The weld looks much brighter than when I use my old Miller auto dark. I've thought about sending it back but I do love the large lens and being able to see the weld better when I start. Nice helmet.
Satisfied with the delivery. After using it I find that the head gear is just OK. Head gear does not allow for having the hood to raise up and stay. So as to let you adjust your work piece. Also the angle of the hood adjustment when down is very difficult to adjust. X-mode problems

Awesome but pricey
The helmet is awesome. Some false positives with it dimming at odd times as I face the shop doorway for example, but better safe than sorry. As for the 'value'... this is still really expensive, and I assume Miller's profit margin is super high, but I want to protect my eyes, and I'm working with thin-metal TIG welding which sometimes doesn't activate cheap auto-dimming helmets.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
