I like neat and simple. I have Ubiquiti Loco M5 wireless bridge station, but it works on 24 volts. My PoE switch supplying 48V over CAT5 cable. In order to get rid of PoE injector I had to buy this Passive PoE Adapter. Works fine, running cable thru rubber cover on the end was easy, just remove it from the lid and it has a slit. Now I wish Ubiquiti had this inside Loco M5 already, so I don't have to buy $25 adapter and sell my $16$ injector. But the good stuff is now I can utilize port on my switch and have extra power outlet. I hanged mine outdoor, let's see how long it is going to last. Loco M5 lasts year and a half already.
