Perfect Replacement
The ceiling fan/light in one of my bedrooms is controlled by only a wireless remote set into the wall. Since buying the home a couple of years ago, the setup would frequently fail to operate the fan/light.. even after switching batteries in the remote. The replacement remote arrived in just a couple of business days, and was a perfect match. Replacing both the remote and the receiver at the fan/light was a snap. The pairing instructions were easy, and the fan/light now work perfectly-- every time. No wires needed.
My two other fan wall remotes require being wired into the existing wiring that runs to the fan which isn't usually a big deal, but caused problems on the last install. This time I installed a fan after a remodel where we took out a wall. The fan switch was on the wall that was removed and the electrician did not install a new one. My fan/light didn't have a switch! Fortunately this remote is battery powered and took 2 minutes to install next to any existing light. Very happy! Saved a few hundred on a electrician.
