Good for the grandkids
While the sound quality us much better than my phone, the volume is about the same. It's sort of an exotic kid's meal prize. It really works - wirelessly, with my phone's Bluetooth. I plan to give it to my daughter for one of the grandkids, and find a 110v (not portable/rechargeable) stationary unit with higher watt output. This little unit works well, is a rechargeable, go anywhere wireless speaker, and is well worth the price if power is not critical.
