Cheap, good for a field gun
I ordered the 36" for a 26" barrel over/under shotgun. The case will close, but there is a gap where the handle is. The pillar is in the way. I have to shuffle the shotgun around to get it to fit at all. This case is NOT airline approved. I called Plano and they had me take a picture of the box. They admitted it is their fault and are shipping a case that is airline approved at no cost. If you have a field gun and want to use this case for back and forth to the field it will be fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

No frills gun case that works fine

Break down shotgun case.
The hold clips pop off way too easy. And the whole structure is not quite rigid enough for my liking. As well as the foam inside is too thick. Even with just one gun. It is difficult to compress and close without The silly hold clips popping out of place. The center support post in the middle is also lame as it gets in the way. The almost perfect gun case
I will use it, but it is an extremely tight fit. If you have accessories of any kind, either take them off and store separately or squeeze squeeze squeeze. Almost Perfect...
I was given one of these cases a years back, it worked out great for my SxS shotgun. I recently acquired those Non-NFA firearms (Shockwave & TAC-14) but wanted a nice, safe, sturdy way to transport them and keep them at home...these cases meet all my requirements. Not bad for the price
Very durable and pretty rugged. If your looking for a good case without the high price tag this is it. The only flaw is it may bulge in the middle due to begin over packed. Work as designed and is adaptable.

1st I'm happy with my purchase. After got this and opened I realized maybe I had received the wrong item, because there's a piece of plastic dead smack in the center of the case but should fit most either AR and AK pistols. Does the job... 2 minor issues...
This case worked fine for transporting and checking my disassembled rifle and scope on a domestic Southwest flight. The case is pretty sturdy but has a couple of minor problems including no lock holes in the center handle (only two at the case ends) and although it is very well padded, the center of the case at the handle bulged slightly and left a small gap and it did not close completely. The center post provides rigidity but also is an obstruction inside the case. Overall does the job and I was able to lock the handle with a larger padlock. The gap remained but TSA did not notice or take issue with it but was a concern I had! Perhaps the foam could be trimmed or become softer with time allowing for a better closure.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
