The story is set in the year 2065, when air defense systems have grown so advanced that most combat involves robotic humanoids battling behind enemy lines. Gamers take control of a group of supersoldiers as they make their way through expansive levels designed to accommodate four players. Each character can be fully customized, and gamers can collect tokens to acquire new weapons and unlock new gear.<br><br>The competitive multiplayer modes now feature a new momentum-based movement system designed to create more fluid action, with gamers using thrust jumps, wall runs, and slides, while still maintaining the ability to fire their weapons. A new Specialist character system lets players pick from a handful of unique soldiers, master their weapons and abilities, and rank them up, while the new Gunsmith feature offers hundreds of ways to customize weapons. Black Ops III also marks the return of Treyarch's signature zombie gameplay, with the new Shadows of Evil mode offering a film-noir experience set in the 1940s fictional town of Morg City. MAYBE worth the price I paid for it. Maybe.
In my opinion, this is probably the worst game of the Call of Duty series and I think it's due to the fact the game company contacted development of COD Black Ops 3 out to a totally different development company then what was used in prior games. Speaking for running the game on PC, there is a problem with audio in the game (no sound) if you are not running the game out of a separate sound card instead of sound from the computer motherboard and though you would think the game company would have corrected that problem by now through an update, I am buying the game after a few years now when it's considered an older game, the problem still exists. I had read a few bad reviews about this game before I actually bought the game but I blew them off. No, not a good game as far as development and storyline. New to gaming, so I don't have much to compare with. It's all about the killing, so if that bothers you, skip this game.
