A little background first at 400000 miles I had "rebuilt" injectors put in my truck. The truck never seemed quite right low power, smoke etc. Shop that did the work said what do you expect with that mileage. same injectors i bought for my 05 dodge cummins...shame on me.....company was nice enough to refund my money...but now out $750.00 for installation..lesson learned..with these injectors in truck would run fine up to 2000 rpms..after that injectors would just open up and dump fuel into the engine..way overfueling .raw fuel coming out of exhaust.. had to reinstall my old injectors...
