Best of the best...
Distilling 5 concerts into just two disks is an impossible job, yet an incredibly excellent job was done here...I haven't taken these CD's out of the player for a week. Even though a few of these songs aren't what I would call "My Favorites", every song on them are fantastic sounding. The energy between the crowds and the Band is tangible to the ears. The recordings are perfect for a live show...just like standing on stage. I didn't attend any of the shows because of the distant locations, and the idea of seeing the remaining members without Jerry on lead guitar is like eating a sandwich without the bread....yet, Trey Anastasio did a incredible job in an impossible situation. I highly recommend this to any DeadHead like me (been on the Bus since 1970) or the occasional listener. Even though I was hesitant about buying this 2-disk set at 1st I am soooo glad I did. I will now probably look for the expanded collection with more music on it. Get it , you won't be sorry .♪The Music never Died ♫. Peace
