Meh. I now wish I'd bought a newer model.
A lot has changed at B&N since this unit was offered. It's no longer possible to buy apps for it. Also, the battery has had some usage because of the age, so it's not as good a charge as a new unit would be. Another thing to consider is that when this unit arrived, the SDHC card cover was missing, so I had to figure out a different way to ensure it wouldn't get damaged. Adding up the extras I had to buy: $9.95 for a power cable, $12.95 for the charger unit, $14 for the universal cover, plus the S/H, it's cost me at least $40 above the cost of the unit, which was about $25. Believe me, you can get a whole lot better unit for only a little more money. I wouldn't buy it again, if I had the choice to do over.

Comes with what you need to charge it with. Great selection of books and magazines. Games. Pandora, Netflix, Hulu. Not all of these are free but offer a free trial membership. Has games like Scrabble and others. Large color screen. Comes with easy directions paper. Uses WiFi. Easy to navigate. Great price. I bought my cover- not included, on ebay.
