Perfect for ultrabook, older laptop or as secondary storage
I bought a total of three of these solid state drives. They are incredibly fast and versatile, allowing me to install them in laptops with a free micro SATA slot (provided the slot contained the disk controller hardware needed to be able to recognize the SSD). With a mSATA to PATA adatper, it is possible to install these SSDs into an older laptop. With appropriate dynamic drive overlay software, these drives can be used with vintage laptops as well! These drives are trouble-free overall, and contain their own advanced garbage collection algorithms, which run while the drive is idle. This allows for the use of older operating systems which do not natively support TRIM.
