Perfect Old 1080p Card
This was an absolute must buy during the mining craze before the used market was tapped by miners and during the fallout afterwards. Why? This card is just a hotter version of both the 1060 6GB and the RX 580 for only 120-150. You couldn't find those two modern equivalents for that price whatsoever. The closest you could get would be a RX 560 or a 1050 Ti and those come with less VRAM and at least one or two tiers less performance. This was a no brainer. The card treated me well from 2015-2017 and again during my brief stint with Fortnite during the summer in 2018. If you can find this for less than 100 and only want a 1080p 60 FPS GPU, this is it.

Don't listen to the naysayers.
I experienced none of the difficulty setting this card up as claimed in other reviews, and I have had no issues of any kind since installing it several months ago. It is a noticeable upgrade over the 290, and outperforms the more expensive 970 I have installed on my other gaming PC. Cool, quiet, and fully DX12 compatible.
