Not great
This toner cartridge was listed as used. I sent them a message asking if it had been used in a printer. I was told it had never been in a printer or used before. When it arrived, the box was pretty beat up. (Not a problem) looking at the date on the box showed a date of year 1981! It is almost 20 years old. It prints, but there is a mark going vertical down the page which looks like a wheel was driven right down the middle of the page. Every. Single. Page. For the price, not good.

Obviously old cartridges 50% of them work at best
Purchased two cartridges 1st one was defective and caused large bands of toner on the pages, so far 2nd cartridge is working fine. This happens every time I purchase this cartridge 50% success rate at best. HP C3909A Replacement cartridge
I received my replacement cartridge which seemed to be a direct HP replacement, although there were some differences from my last one. I followed the directions on the box, and pretty much just dropped it in, and shut the printer back up. It powered on, ran SelfTest and printed my test sheet just fine from the 5SiMX LCD Test menu. I anticipate no problems. Since this is day one, I don't have any longevity stats to report. LOVE HP 5si Printer Toner
I have a law office - we've had the HP 5si Printer for over 20 yrs. The Toner lasts us a year -- give or take. NO problems with the new, sealed Toners. All issues I've had is with other toners. Did Not Work, but appeared to be unopened HP packaging.
Unfortunately, the cartridge did not work when I installed it. It made a loud vibrating noise when installed. Then toner spilled when I took it out. The packaging looked like HP original unopened though, so I am not sure what was the problem. I reinstalled my old cartridge and it worked fine.
