Leatherman surge
Lost my Surge and spent $100.00 immediately to get a replacement. Had other brands but there is nothing like a Leathermen. It's a bit heavy but has all I need to do many jobs. Too much of a good thing?
Hey, I used to have a Leatherman Wave. I have used it for at least 4-5 years and I thought it was a great product. But of course, as a male, we are always looking for bigger and better, so I bought the surge. It is made well and sturdier than the wave. But the price is paid in weight. I have a pager, key ring and cell phone on my belt. It is just probably too much weight for the increase in strength. My ego won't let me go back to the wave but if I really am honest with myself, I got more utility per ounce with the wave than the surge. I suppose if I was more than an office worker, I would love the heavy duty feel of the surge but I really do not do much that I could not have done with the wave. The surge is well made and up to the usual standards of Leatherman. Maybe I will eventually grow up and go back to the wave!!??Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best leatherman I've owned so far!
This is by far the most durable leatherman I've owned, I've tore up several other models. This is a real tool not just for light jobs. I just wish it had a place to incert the eyeglass bit. Maybe a bit with a hex hole to incert it into. Only complaint.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Solid Performer
