    So far, so good.

    I bought this deck to replace a stock deck in my f250. I had do do some dash modification(cutting away the top and bottom lip of the opening for the stereo. A bastard file and hack saw work great.) and buy an install kit to make it work, but it wasn't too difficult. I bought this unit mostly because I have an iPhone and was interested in the carplay features. I use the carplay all the time but have found other features useful. I don't use it for a back up monitor or for playing dvds, although it is certainly more than capable. Occasionally it freezes up, maybe once a month or so, but I just reset it by popping out the faceplate and popping it back in and i'm back in business quickly. The reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is because it has a soft resistive touch screen, which is fine, but scratches easily. It would have been nice if pioneer had manufactured this unit with a glass capacitive touch screen a la iPhone, but you can't beat the price for a nav unit with carplay.

    Not what I expected

    I have a motorhome and needed a head unit that has a hook up for a back up camera. I had a Pioneer in the last and loved it. This one is not even close to the old one. The Mac always says I'm going over the speed limit when I'm not. The apple play disconnects all the time and when I tried to put the owners manual disk in j get a message saying unsupported format. So far not impressed at all.

    Pioneer does it again

    I have owned many pioneers over the years, I would say at least 20 different head units or more. I have had about 8 that I can remember in the double din size, 3 of which had GPS and this is by far better than any of them. It is better than any factory gps available, this is to include dodge ford and mazda. It is extremely responsive and accurate. Ignore the other review that was 2 stars. It said it was always saying they were speeding, that is easily turned off. I did it took about 5 minutes. Also the instruction manual is for a computer not the head unit come on.

    really like the Pioneer

    This was an upgrade for the old stereo in my truck. It has performed flawlessly. Only thing that I can find fault with is that this model doesn't give you the option of setting how far over the speed limit you go before a warning. The next model up does give that option, but a higher price. All in all, I'm very happy with this unit.
