GOOD canister vacuum
I was skeptical to buy this due to bad reviews on Amazon and Hoover's website. This machine is amazing, we had a Shark and the dust cup was full of fine dust and a giant ball of dirt. The suction is remarkable and the 3-In-1 tool is effective. The power nozzle really vibrates the carpet and the horsehair hard floor brush really dusts hard floors and many other types of floors. The 6 foot hose is a generous length. The only negative I've found with this Hoover Air Canister Vacuum is the 17 foot cord, our house is very wide so the cord is very limited. It seems like there is about 15 usable feet due to the colored cord markers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great vacuum!
This vacuum was an upgrade from a little eureka vacuum that I loved. This one feels very high quality and has a wand that extends super long so you don’t have to bend over as much while vacuuming floors and can easily reach cobwebs on the ceiling corners, etc. I like how the small attachments are one piece, but I don’t care for the hard bristled brush and can’t think of anything I would use it for since it seems it would scratch. The dust canister is oddly designed where the contents stays in the bottom when you empty it and you have to turn it weird to dump. Minor issues for how well it performs. Very pleased!!! After a dirt cup replacement due to the original arriving with a broken latch, the unit performs well. The only thing to note so far is that the cup does need to be emptied often, in part due to how well the unit picks up dirt. Purchased NEW yet damaged w/no warranty
Item arrived NIB yet brushroll won’t work. I had an authorized dealer look at it and they said it was electrical and since I purchased it on eBay I have no warranty. I contacted Hoover and the on-line agent “Angela W” told me I have no warranty. I am super impressed, all the attatchments and everything are in phenomenal condition and to anyone who is thinking of buying one: remember when you empty the canister there is a tiny piece inside that must also be removed to fully clean it. Wonderful Vacuum (If you like a canister vac!)
My wife loves this vacuum. I guess I do too, but then I'm an upright guy. I had a 30+ year old Kirby when we got married that would suck the carpet off the floor. "It's too heavy," "It's too hard to handle." Well, we know what that got us. The first canister we got, the Shark, did an okay job, but it wouldn't deep clean the cat hair on the furniture and carpet. I found the Hoover WindTunnel AIR that was listed as excellent on pet hair. They were right. This vacuum cleans very well. Not only is the suction great, it comes with a pet hair mini nozzle for furniture that is perfect. The canister is easy to detach and empty, and has several filters to keep dust to a minimum when using. It actually has HEPA filters on it. The amount of pickup from the carpet is amazing and might even give my old Kirby a run for it's money. I'm sure this vacuum motor is more efficient though. A winner in any class.
Canister is my preference. My old Hoover had a bad design flaw: the filter was inside the refuse collection container and was continually clogged, and was a real pain to clean. This one has corrected it, is a breeze to empty and clean. It is a heavyweight, but easy to pull about and well balanced for carrying.
