BUNN NHS Brewer
I purchased this coffee maker for the office I work in. There are several of us that drink coffee, so we needed a versatile unit that brewed coffee fast! Being a BUNN owner myself, I knew the brand has an excellent reputation, and while I had not used this model previously, I decided to give it a try. Just like my BUNN at home, this coffee maker has exceeded all of my expectations! It brews in a matter of minutes, makes HOT coffee, and keeps it hot as long as you want it. The coffee tastes as good on the last cup as it does on the first. We are EXTREMELY pleased with it, and it's certainly getting its workout here. Wonderful item, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good quality brewer that won't break the bank! Hope it lasts.
This is my fourth Bunn home version brewer. The first one had the warmer switch go bad within a few months. The second worked for about a year and a half and the warmer died. The third had the same issue in about the same amount of time. Because I use very finely ground coffee the previous models all needed a restricted water nozzle to prevent the grounds from overflowing the filter. This also had the effect of increasing brew time. So far this unit seems to be improved as far as it's tolerance for fine grounds. It doesn't overflow and has a fast brew time. Makes great coffee. Now to see how long the warmer lasts. The only other thing is it's only a 10 cup pot. It would be nice to have this model in a 12 cupper. I keep buying them because they make great coffee faster than any other brewer I've ever used.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

You'll Never Go Back
Purchased this brewer as my back-up, so I won't have to go without, when my current one dies. I have been using the Bunn velocity coffee brewer for many years. I love the fast brew time, don't have to wait around long to get A Cup o Jo. I do wish the warming base kept the coffee a bit hotter. Good hot coffee but it can be messy
I have owned Bunn coffee makers for over a decade. I usually discard them after several years as the coffee no longer heats properly. I recently purchased this model at a great price on Ebay (former return item). The claim was the item had been properly tested and tested fine. Taking that claim with a grain of salt, I bought the item hoping for the best. I got a machine that makes quick hot coffee. My only issue is the tank continues a very slow drip for quite a long time after the coffee is "ready." The result is dripping of coffee on the warming plate every time you retrieve the pot. Clean the basket of coffee and you will get a water drip. I can stand the quirk if my coffee is ok which it is. I suspect many others who are particular about precision will find this objectionable and a deal breaker. New Design
Love this coffeemaker had the older model for over 10 yrs. Don't like the NEW look of this machine went with the updated look of old style machine and am totally happy with the look, and it still has the functionality and FAST brewing feature of the old style machine. Best tasting coffee!
I have my slowly dieing second Keurig and their price annoys me so I bought this Bunn coffee pot. And hands down, it brews better tasting coffee, really fast. The ultimate coffee pot
There's a reason why restaurants use commercial coffee pots that operate with the same features, and for years Bunn had that market tied up - probably still does. It has speed and makes great tasting coffee. Our first Bunn lasted 14 years before it gave up, and that was making three pots of coffee a day every day. Only put five stars to show others my experience, actually deserves one.
I got this coffee maker because there's so many good reviews about Bunn but when it came the box was quite damaged and the maker definitely wasn't new. Used it and it leaked water out of the bottom, asked for a return and the lady I spoke with was very nice and helpful, didn't require me to send the old one back and sent me a new machine. I did receive both machines very quickly, the second was without a box but that was expected but instead of some sort of box it came oddly wrapped in a long piece of cardboard folded around it. This coffee maker was scratched all over, definitely used, the price I would have put on either of them considering their look would be maybe $25. This one also leaked out the back and the coffee was luke warm, I could put my hands on carafe when it was done brewing. It was fast brewing I'll give it that. When I asked about this one leaking I was told to try putting 9 cups in instead of 10...but then it would only make 9 cups...and its a 10 cup machine sooo...it wouldn't be functioning correctly. Quick good coffee
We like our coffee quick and this brewer does that...without tasting burned. This is our third Bunn coffee maker. We use one in the shop, one when we go on the road and one in the kitchen at home. I put the filter in the container and fill a pitcher with water, to the line I marked for the full fill. Our coffee is in a glass container right beside the pitcher so it is all ready first thing in the morning! 3 minutes!! By the time you do your "necessary" things in the morning, your perfect cup is ready. We also noticed that this one has a warmer that does not scorch your coffee after a few minutes warming. It hold it at just the right temp. The little pointer on the carafe lid helps to not mess up when pouring too.
