Good product just a bit more difficult to install than expected
Bought these for my son's 2wd Slash. PROS: - definitely beefy build quality - handling improved 200% once installed - color pop is nice asthetic CONS: - bottom knuckle is too wide, required significant shaving of the swingarm plastic so it was wide enough to accomodate - caps were nearly impossible to remove for oil install - bleeding these was very time consuming, not sure why but air bubbles just wouldn't dissipate Once I was able to get these filled with oil and installed they are great. If it weren't for the 3 CONS above these could've been 5 star. Unfortunately those 3 challenge points were VERY challenging and required quite a bit of time for a rather simple shock swap. I'd still recommend these as the plastic stock shocks are garbage and these significantly improved the handling and performance of my son's Slash. Just know, it may take a bit of extra effort but is well worth the trouble.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great shocks for.great price
My slash needs a lot of fixing after it jumped off a warfare about 15 feet into rocks and shocks was one thing. These are really nice shocks but.little soft for my liking and I'm just gonna get some firmer springs for them so that's not an issue. I would recommend when you get them to clean them out and add whatever oil you want because they don't have much in them and they tend to squeak. I run mine with 30W in all of them and I run in rough dirt conditions most of the time. So I would say if you are on the edge about buying these go for it and you definitely won't regret it if you have in mind to change out the springs and oil.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not worth it
These aren’t worth More than $10. The caps are difficult to unscrew and there’s no way to hold the shock body to get the caps off, pliers are the only solution but the aluminum is so cheap it’s just going to chew the body up. Lower mounts are cheap plastic and sloppy, Eyelet pops off if you even look at it the wrong way. Save your money and buy proline or Traxxas gtrVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

The Traxxas red shocks are beautiful easy to install and once you have settled on the right shock oil for your apparatus they work great myself I use a 50 weight oil.
