Worked perfectly on my 2008 Ford F-150
Bought wheels and tires off a 2013 F150 and couldn't train. Bought these sensors and to be sure they would work before installing, I sat one down beside each tire and trained them. It worked, so I had them installed. Didn't even have to re-train. Found that the seller of the 2013 tires and wheels had taken the sensors off of the valve stems. Good reason why they wouldn't train. Tired of that yellow low tire light, bye this TPMS and your problem is solved.
Came with new valve core and was an easy install. Bought 2 and both worked and linked up to my 2006 HHR. It doesn't matter if you have a rubber valve stem or metal this fits both and the metal is easier to install. I just used my truck to run over the tire to bust the seal so I could cut the old rubber stem off and install these metal TPMS. Didn't need to balance tire this way. Just had to re-learn each TPMS and you can Youtube it and do it yourself for free. If they don't last long (battery life) I'll update this but right now very happy. Easy, nice, and works great
These solve the TPMS light stuck on issue for nearly every vehicle. AND most importantly, they do it easily and without expensive complications with programming. You don't need a pre-programming tool with this. Though depending on your car, you might need a post programming tool to get your car to see all of the TPMS sensors in your tires so it knows which sensor goes to which tire. It's pretty confusing out there and this makes it a lot easier! Works on 2008 escape
You will have to tell the shop to install it if they dont think it will work. Their tool will not pick this up as they are programmers and this is pre programmed. I did have the Ford tpms learning tool which was like 15 bucks. They were only able to set it up with my cheap tool theirs wouldn't work.
