Custom fits
If you are more into fit & performance, this is for you. The three removable risers most certainly make a comfortable fit & align your eye to the scope. The elastic band stays in place & for the nominal price, it is hard to beat. One size fits most rifles.
I mounted a larger scope on my Remington 597 .22. I had to use taller rings for the scope to clear the iron sights. So when I sighted through the scope I couldn't press my cheek against the comb correctly to stabilize the shot. I ordered the flexible comb risers and got them quickly. I decided to put the small insert on top of the comb and slide the sleeve over the top of it so I didn't have to glue anything. It raised the comb the perfect amount. I was able to make some really accurate shots at the range. Also, the material feels warm against the skin so it might be nice for cold weather. I also like the way it looks. I already have a slip-on butt pad on the rifle and the riser just adds to the rugged look in my opinion. It makes it look like a customized target rifle. I guess it might just be a customized target rifle at that.
