  • Motorola Droid Turbo 2 (Moto X Force) XT1585

Still one of the best phones out there with a large screen to body ratio, boasting a 21 mp camera (it's replacement, the Moto-Z only has 16 mp - they're cheap-ifying them!), a huge battery, and best of all, a five layer screen build for excellent shatter-proofing. In fact, the top layer is actually a user-replaceable plastic protector directly from Motorola. These phones are still selling new for $528. I got two in great condition for $170 each! I also noticed the antenna in the Droid Turbo 2 is improved over the Droid turbo model, when that model dropped my wifi signal, but the Droid Turbo 2 still had 3 bars at the same location far from the router, compared to 0 - 1 with the "beloved Droid Turbo". Big screen sucks down the battery life though, so you will need to charge daily. This unlocked Verizon phone was activated on Simple Mobile (using T-mobile antennas), and it works fine. Very glad going from an over-priced and over-rated iPhone to this, where the sound and touch is better. Best of all, it costs less, has a tougher screen, better display and screen-to-case ratio, better antenna, more processors, a more attractive case (instead of that stupid 1980's rounded corner design), and the Android system seems to have infinite user setting selection instead of that ultra minimalism, designed by control freaks that assume we are all simpletons that buy technology - not!). Obviously, no problems adapting to the Android platform. But if you're a wealthy bonehead that likes tossing away money, don't buy this phone. There are plenty of other less-durable, over-priced models better suited to you.

  • Great value and features in Motorola Droid products

This is my 4th Motorola phone, upgrading from the regular Turbo to the Turbo 2. Lots of intuitive features, and the phone is rugged. Things I like the most: 1. Gorilla Glass - don't have to worry about breaking / cracking the display. 2. Hand flip camera: I can activate the camera just by hand motion. 3. Shake for flashlight: Don't have to mess with an app. I just give the phone 2 shakes and the flashlight comes on. 4. Selfie camera has a built-in light. Not something I've seen a lot on other models 5. Turbo charger gets me back up and running in about 10-15 minutes. From almost dead to 60%, it's nice that I don't have to beg for a power outlet. 6. HD phone calls. It sounds like the person is practically standing next to me. Doesn't sound like a regular phone call. I would recommend that you get one.

  • You asked

As the shape it was mint. But the battery acts crazy sometimes but it seem to die if I'm using my phone or not. I've seen go from 45% to 5% in about an hour. From 18% to 4% with in a couple of minutes. It shut it self off and back on a few times. The reception is no wares as good as my old phone. I'm lucky to get Wi-Fi on my porch. But the appearance is mint. Not try to write a bad review. But you asked. I just got to stop buying something's online. Thank you!!!

  • Not a Bargin.

Bought this phone with hopes that its large capacity battery would do better than the Samsung phone I had. Not so!! I now believe that this phone was not "refurbished" at all, certainly had not had a battery replacement. After fully charginging, it would last maybe 1/2 day before draining down to 20%. I tried reducing screen brightness, not using GPS, etc., as much as possible, but still would not keep up with my old phone. Finally, after a couple months use, I starting getting a "Gboard" app failure.....which means the keyboard app would no longer load on startup and the phone is pretty much useless, lucky for me I used a pattern unlock feature and not a numeric, because I would not even be able to unlock the phone so I could switch data to another phone. I was foolish to think I got a great deal on a used phone, this phone was a piece of junk.

  • Great phone but......

This is an excellent phone and works great in every way. The only downfall is that even though it has a shatterproof screen you will still need a case because the phone in it's stock form is more slippery than a bar of wet soap. After one day of use I had to buy a rubber case just so it wouldn't slip out of my hand.

  • Excellent for What It Is

I purchased this phone to replace a Turbo 1 that had become defective. I am very pleased with it. It is not the most state of the art phone, as it is two years old. But, for my purposes it performs excellently. The processor is quicker than the phone it replaced and it performs very well for me. Most of all, the battery is terrific. It gives long usage times and the turbo charger lets it recharge quickly. Until the phone industry develops new technologies to make me want to shell out the big bucks for a brand new phone, this one is great for me.

  • Great battery life, indestructible screen is awesome.

Battery life is amazing. I get about 4 hours of screen on time before it starts to die (i don't play games, that would drain the battery quicker). The phone overall is very fast with minimal lag switching between apps like facebook, snapchat, chrome. Great phone overall.

  • Great battery, big scren, can share calendar

Great screen. I have two and they share info, except contacts. I will use droid turbo two until they no longer support it. Best phone Motorola ever made, and I have had Motorola phones for twelve yesrs.

  • Overall satisfactory. Accurate advertising on battery life, but beware of 4G LTE usage.

I got the phone in pretty much mint condition. The phone is working just fine. My non-Verizon SIM works in the phone, but there's this pesky little message constantly reminding me that my SIM is non-Verizon. I'm sure that I'll eventually figure out how to get rid of that message though. As for the battery life, it's not as stellar as I was expecting, but it is as advertised once you adjust for a few factors. The advertised battery life assumes a 2G or 3G network. The advanced 4G LTE option is pretty much my only choice with my new provider and that saps energy like crazy. But it seems like I can still browse the internet and stream youtube videos over a 4G connection (with unlimited data) for almost half a day non-stop before needing a charge. The quoted battery life on standby mode also seems accurate based on my experience so far (and extrapolating to 100% consumption). I'm actually thinking of buying a second refurbished Motorola Droid Turbo 2 phone from this seller when more become available. I can use it to replace the Samsung J1 that I use with my other mobile provider.

  • Great price, great phone

Love this phone, appeared looking brand new n works great :) my only complaint is the battery kinda drains fast. I had the turbo 1 before this and the battery would stay all day, I have to fight this one a little bit to keep it alive that long. But other than that its a nice phone for a great price, shipped fast!
