All around great vacuum!
As a refurbished item, this thing is a steal! We have had an older upright, 10 plus years, that has worked pretty much flawlessly but lacked in doing hard flooring. The hose on that thing finally started to rip so we decided to get an upgrade and this thing is great! The first thing I did was run this over about 900 sq ft of old hardwood flooring and the crud it pulled out of the cracks was amazing...gross, but amazing. We have a few area rugs and it does great on those as well. I then used the upholstery attachment on one sofa that was already "clean"...good gosh, I pulled out about a tablespoon of dust and quite a bit of hair. Excellent upgrade
After owning a Dyson for over a decade of trouble free service, and being ready to upgrade, the choice was clear. Overall, this new model exceeds my expectations. We have 2 cats, and 2 dogs, they leave a huge amount of hair behind on carpet and furniture. The Animal allergy and pet model picks up an amazing quantity of dust and hair each week I use it. Can’t go wrong with a Dyson.
This is my second Dyson. They cannot be matched for both power and performance. I like how the wand comes out for fast and efficient cleaning. This Dyson is a bit larger than my 20 year old Animal and is a little heavier. Due to the sale, I feel I got a great deal. I had the vacuum in my hands in less than a week. Easy to put together. I've always wanted a Dyson but this vacuum is very hard to maneuver. I've only used it once so far, so I haven't had to empty it yet.
