  • Nice unit

Have had it about 2 weeks now, after some initial priming via choke/pulling starter rope, it started right up 1st time VERY QUIET literally you can stand beside it and have a conversation at normal voice levels. Last weekend I ran it in eco mode operating a 32" shop fan for nearly 8 hrs continuous, with intermittent use running a saw, and an electric drill, and also the charger for my job-site radio. I've considered buying a second one to run larger loads with the 2 tied in parallel, though it will run on E85 fuel, for maximum standby service I HIGHLY RECOMMEND spending a little more on non ethanol blended fuel with fuel stabilizer in it. Not too heavy to "tote around", and is a 4 cycle engine with low oil level protection, simple to operate, open vent knob on top of generator, set operating selector to full choke, pull starting rope until it "coughs/starts" then set to run position, Eco mode is used with light loads <1000W intermittent for max fuel economy.

  • Great little inverter generator

I bought this generator for my Dad. Had it shipped to me so I could compare it to one I bought for myself from one of the other guys. This WEN unit has the same fit and finish as a much costlier unit, same weight and quality (visually) as the competition. My Dad has been testing this little machine on everything in the house that it will power. He is having a blast with his new toy and very pleased with the performance. He decided to buy a 5000 BTU window A/C unit in case the power goes out (which is all the time in the South) he said it starts and runs the small AC unit without much noticeable load on the generator. The listed load is about 450 watts and about 900 surge. I'll eventually get them another to run in parallel to add capacity for emergency use.

  • Fantastic Value!! Great Generator

Fantastic generator. Easy start easy operation. Lots less expensive than a Honda. Cannot believe how quiet this is. Can stand right beside it and hold a normal conversation. Highly recommended.

  • Just What is needed for Hurricanes

I have owned larger generators in the past but found myself not using them because of size and noise. Hurricane Irma came through our city and we lost power and did not have a generator. Without power for a family of 6 was miserable. To prepare for next event I purchased the WEN 56200i. It is small enough to lug around and quieter than my older bigger generators although not whisper quiet. Starts easily and on the econo-mode setting is quiet. (Gets louder as more load applied). Will easily run TV/fans/lights/refrigerator to make it through a crisis, and will also be our companion when we go out in the woods camping.

  • Awesome

This little generator is so awesome is powered my camper and run continuously for almost 2 weeks no problems We’ve had 20 below zero and a generator continue runs and powers my camper keeping the heating system and the batteries fully charged at all times and it is compact and the size fits right under my cabinet perfectly we now have it mounted on the back of the camper on a special carrier frame and I’m going to modify the gas cap at some point so that we can get a little extended range on the generator like to see it run for at least 10 to 12 hours without adding more gas right now it runs nine hours are in a gallon or a tank full of gas Lovett would recommend it highly to anybody

  • Awesome generator for the price

Bought this thing after reading other reviews. Wanted something quiet, for tailgating and camping. Took it down to the beach the first weekend I had it. Camped for 2 days and probably put 30 hours on it. It was perfect. Never missed a beat. You could barely hear it at 10 ft away from where all my stuff was set up. And those 30 hours I only burned about 2 and 1/4 tanks of gas. Would definitely recommend this product over the pricier Honda. It's half the price. A friend of mine that was camping with us said he almost bought a Honda. But the store he stopped at to get them didn't have one. Said he was glad he didn't, that he was going to buy 2 of these. Like I said, awesome little generator for the price.

  • Sweet little gen

Topped with oil and gas, fired up with a couple of pulls and will run my refrigerator and deep freezer at the same time. I plug in the refrig first for the surge and get it going, then the freezer. Nice and quiet compared to my neighbors generator and a lot easier to move around .I will have to see how long it lasts, we will only use for emergencies so should be okay.

  • Great little dependable generator

It’s quite and powered our popup camper all night. Ran lights, recharged lots of things and ran the furnace all at the same time without issues. Starts on one pull and super efficient. Just make sure you put fresh oil in it before each use!

  • Great generator

I bought this to replace a Generac GP3250, which is a piece of junk. The WEN produces the same power, yes a Generac 3250 will actually only make 1650 watts. It is 100 times quieter and weighs half as much. The WEN started the first pull and produces good power without surges. The power quality is excellent. It is easy to move around so you don't need lots of extension cords. I have used a friends Honda and this is every bit as good for less than half the price.

  • Honda Killer

Best advice. Buy it! Honda Killer! Yamaha Killer! You can buy two of these, run them in parallel for the price of ONE of the others. Most important though!!! Buy a magnetic dipstick, (The one that fits the Yamaha 2000.) Then break it in over 3 hours on 'Eco Mode' changing the oil each hour. In the last hour, begin to add a 700 watt load for 20 mins, then a 1000 watt load, then a 1500 watt load. All at 20 min intervals. Then drain oil again and top off with EXPENSIVE 30 weight oil. Just my opinion, I am not in anyway an expert.
