Like it Alot
Love the maneuverability, the suction is great, and having a cordless vacuum makes a huge difference in how often I vacuum :) I have a full size Dyson and only take it out now to vacuum my area rugs. I have had no issues with this cordless Dyson losing its charge, and a full charge does give me enough time to vacuum my whole house, although it is a fairly small house. My only complaints are they should include a few more attachments, and you have to keep the trigger pulled to run the vacuum, and the dirt release lever is located in an awkward place - I've already accidentally opened it twice. I've also converted it to the handheld mini vac and tried vacuuming my car with it, but frankly, that didn't go so well. It was just awkward. Great for cat hair and carpets.
We have 3 cats, 2 long haired and one with short hair. They all shed a lot, especially during the summer. This vacuum handles it no problem. It is fantastic at cleaning carpets and removing fur from the carpets. If anything gets caught in the wheel, it's easy to take apart and clean. It is pretty lightweight. The only "inconvenience" is the chamber size -- it's very small and has to be emptied frequently. It's the best vacuum we've ever had and with 3 kitties, we've had quite a few. The new convenience.
This is a light, easy to handle and very strong vacuum. We have also used the small attachment in our car and that worked fine. The easy connect and disconnect feature makes this unit a dream. To empty it, you just hold it over your trash can and use 1 release. Out it goes. I wish I would have bought one when my daughter first mentioned it. This stick vacuum is quite compact and lightweight, making it versatile for everyday use around your home. It also charges very quickly! When you use it, you do have to hold down a button/trigger the entire time, which may be tiresome for some people. But I've found it to be of minimal nuisance for everyday cleaning around my room. Pros Easy to use and move to all floors except some rugs with rubber undercoating. Charge base easy to mount, put charge cord is hookie. Based should be a solid structure. Lasts 20minutes on medium vacuum speed. High mode runs the battery down in 5 minutes. Somewhat heavy for little old ladies. Cons Charge cord running through is a badly designed. Empting unit is a PITA and you need to dig material out of a cup. Unit is painted not molded with color. best yet
I've had two other Dyson's and was TOTALLY disappointed!!! The turbine idea of spinning the floor tool was a total joke!! Never worked! I was hesitant buying the cordless, but truly, this thing is awesome. Dyson finally figured out that the floor tool needed to be powered. We have six indoor cats and there is always cat hair on the floor and because of the headache of getting out the "corded" (Shark) vacuum, we would ignore for a couple of days. With Dyson's cordless, it's actually something I look forward to! No more cat hair! The two Dyson's we had gave way to the Shark and it performed (and still does) very nicely, but again, the cord. This vacuum is pricey, but I don't mind that if it works. Totally pleased. Maybe Dyson is listening to disgruntled customers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product, good suction, easy to use!
I really like the Dyson V6, it cleans great. Love the cordless feature, no dragging around chords every where. Only two issues, the battery life is very short, when fully charged it only last about twenty minutes. Not long enough to clean your whole home. Also when emptying the canister the dirt gets stuck in the tank and you have to pull it out manually ,it should come with a tool to help with that as well. Other than that it's a great product. Lightweight and works well
I love this machine so far but some sticking points bug me but then I am a product designer. The quality of the plastic parts especially in the brush head doesn't feel as quality as I had expected. It seems to work fine so far but feels kind of flimsy. Emptying the cartridge is not bad but you still have to stick your hand in there to grab hair and lint. I haven't had to wash the intake filter yet so I will see how it goes.
