  • Hot Drinks. Great Price. A little more work than anticipated.

I did a lot of research before buying this unit. I settled on the Miele brand because every other Superautomatic Coffee machine made by other manufacturers had complaints about drinks being too cold. Having used the 6350, I can attest that "hot" is NOT and issue with Miele. The medium setting is plenty hot, hot is probably a little too hot, and I havent tried maximum hot for fear of scalding myself. I chose the 6350 over the 6150 because it had a few more features including a milk container, an active cup heater, LED lighting , and a hot water spout. My recommendation is to buy the 6150 unless you need the hot water spout because the other features are not terribly useful. The unit uses A LOT of water because it cleans itself both before and after making coffee so the water reservoir needs to be filled often and the drip tray needs to be emptied often. For this reason, I would not purchase a 5000 series because they hold less water. All of this said, the unit makes excellent Latte and Cappucino drinks with thick and warm milk foam. The coffee produced by the machine reminds me more of that I have had in Europe and represents a cross between filter coffee and espresso. The controls take a while to learn but the ability to modify the amount of ground coffee, temperature, and volume of water are very useful. The factory refurbished units are an exceptional value with a 2-year warranty.

  • GREAT Machine, Worth the Research and Wait++++

I did not just do a review of the Miele CM6350, I did a 15 page review. I obviously can not post it here. We get so caught up with a product that we forget the due diligence we did before we bought it. I had no intention of buying this Super Automatic Espresso Coffee Machine. I was going to buy a DeLonghi. I had owned 4 DeLonghi's in the past. Then a good friend out of the blue told me he just bought the CM6350. I started by research. I down loaded the owners manual and read it cover to cover. I read every review I could find. I watched ever YouTube Video especially the ones that are hard to find. This model has been around for a few years. Other brands had new released machines. So I did an excel worksheet lining up the specifications. All the machines were about the same with very subtle differences. One would have a built-in water filter, another would not. One would have a bigger water tank then another. It all came down to the reviews I read like this one. It also focused on my last DeLonghi broke twice in three years. Finally it was that I owned a Miele Vacuum for decades. I bought it. My study of the manual made all the difference in the world. Easy set up, easy ability to adjust every aspect of any of the coffee's the machine makes. Easy clean up and maintenance was a snap. The coffee is fantastic however please remember it has to do with the beans you use. You can't use oily beans so Starbucks and Illy brands were out. What impresses me the most is the machine won't let me mess up. When you make a milk drink, you need to clean the milk tube if the machine goes off, it self cleans itself. It beeps to remind you to take the milk tube out of the milk container. If you don't it will skip cleaning the milk tube. When you turn it on again, you can't make coffee until you clean the tube. That is one smart machine. A hint for everyone, my wife likes her coffee a certain way. I was smart to know to set the default setting to her liking. I then created a profile for me. You see, my wife is not a technical person and I am. If she thinks the machine makes great coffee, she is happy. If she is happy, I am happen. I love this machine. Hope that helps everyone.

  • Excellent Coffee Machine

Had a built-in Miele for over ten years with over 12,000 cups made. Never had an issue, but moving now, so decided to try the countertop version. No regrets, as it’s got the same mechanism and actually cleans the milk tubes better than the built-in version, I make mostly cappuccinos! Would highly recommend this model!

  • Great All Around Machine

I purchased this machine after extensive research. This machine replaced a 9 year old Saeco Taleo that began to malfunction. Very easy to use and configure. The selling point for me is the milk system cleansing and the easy and customizable menu. I really can’t tell the difference between the basic brews from my old Saeco but the milk drinks and ristretto’s are excellent. As with any new device, it requires getting used to. It seems like there is a lot of self cleaning cycles going on which requires more emptying and filling of water. I’m confident that it will become easier with routine. Bought refurbished from Seattle Coffee Gear at a steeply discounted price. The machine was like new with only 45 cycles on it.

  • Great piece of machinery, expensive but does its job very well!

Easy to use, keeps itself clean for the most part, clean modern look, lots of fine tuning through user profiles, Miele quality (built in Switzerland!)...... But bottom line, it makers great coffee drinks!

  • Excellent machine

I’m impressed with this machine. It’s the Rolls Royce of super automatic machines. Quiet, efficient, precise and quick. It makes an espresso that is creamy and light. Foams a cappuccino perfectly even with almond milk. I love it.

  • Great personal coffee machine!

Once you learn how to manage all the profiles to make your perfect cup o joe, this is great. It prompts you about cleaning and actually rinses itself every day.

  • Best coffee!

Pleasantly surprised at how good the Cappuccino tasted! Went to a coffee shop & tried their Cappuccino...no comparison. Miele’s Cappuccino was much better!
