Sure it looks expensive on the surface, but stop and think about it for a minute. This canteen kit has about the same amount of titanium in it as 3 separate pots that would cost about $40 each. Its not a standard shape. You have two welds that have to be spot on perfect, a threaded neck and a threaded cap. You also completely remove any chance of plastics leaching into your water. That's not a bad price now is it? Excellent quality and craftsmanship. No leaks. Super light weight. Cleans up pretty easy. I love the nice patina a good wood fire gives it. If I had to complain about something, it would be the lack of measuring marks on the cup. That is easily over come with practice. You get used to what 8, 12, or 16 ounces look like in the cup. To me its worth every penny and I would gladly buy again.Read full review
