I have been using a Kensington Expert trackball mouse, the wired version, for many years now. In fact, I have used it so much that several of the buttons have worn through and a few of the small parts have given up the ghost, as it were. When it came time to replace my old worn out Kensington there was no doubt in my mind that I would replace it with anything BUT another one. The only question was whether to go with the wired or the wireless model, I opted for the wireless. Set up was simple and straight forward. After installing fresh AA batteries, I simply inserted the dongle into the USB slot previously occupied by my old Kensington and my computer did the rest. Having used a Kensington before, all of the same actions apply but if you have never used a trackball mouse then there will be a learning curve as you adapt to the newness of only using you fingers to control the cursor and not you whole hand. If you spend a lot of time at the computer doing any task that require a mouse, I encourage you to at least try the Kensington Expert, it will save you a lot of discomfort in your hand and arm. The wireless Kensington Expert will also save you a lot of desk space and alleviate the rat's nest of wires associated with computers.Read full review

I have been using a cereal cabled version of the expert trackball mouse for more than 20 years. When my position told me that I needed to reduce stress on my wrist and stop using my trackpad he suggested that I get a trackball. So for me there was only one brand that could fit the bill and that was Kensington! Updated design has a ingenious ring around the trackball that allows you to scroll page material or other functions, it also has a very comfortable wrist support that is easy to mount, it runs off of two double a rechargeable batteries and it's battery lasts 6 months between charges! The best Jerry! The best! 🖲️

Works smoothly and the software is excellent. The wrist rest is not all that easy to get installed correctly, and the provided one had a small tear in it in a non-visible area (quickly repaired with a dab of glue)

Had a rollerball mouse years ago at work and loved it. Finally found this one and love it also. Especially because I’m older now and spend a lot of time on my pc and sometimes my finger bothers me from excessive use of pressing on the mouse buttons. Not so with the rollerball! Being able to program the 4 buttons is a huge plus. If you’re at all interested, get one, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

This is my second or third Kensington trackbalf and I recommend it for folks who want to define the mouse real estate with an accurate easy to use pointing tool. My others lasted a long time and were replaced when I thought something else would be more satisfactory. I always switched back to the trackball and this is the best design for me that I have had. As always, ordering and delivery were easy and timely.
