Very Handy
I purchased this sealer as a replacement for one I had for about 14 years. This one is much easier to use - no "press and hold" until the light flashes - just push a button and you're done. The tray to catch any liquid which may seep out of whatever you are sealing is very handy - no messes to clean up. I purchase items at places like Costco or "value pack" meats on sale. I make individual packages which are the perfect size for me and my family. Seal the package and toss it into the freezer. Simplicity
Locking lid, vacuum/seal. It is not limited by it's simple features. You can stop the vacuum by pressing the vacuum button again once it's in operation. I was a bit surprised that the item shipped in the same box as the product is sold in, but everything was taped well, and luckily the USPS employees seem to be an honest bunch. Big problem with accessory hose.
It's great, inexpensive, and works well. One big problem, though, is that the accessory hose, which you need if you want to use it to seal up canisters, etc., breaks easily and often,. I've already gone through three of them. It's not an expensive part ($3) except it's out of stock everywhere right now. Because they break easily and often. Price gougers are selling it for $16 on eBay, but that's the only place you can find them. They should sell them by the 12-pak. Be very careful with the green part of the accessory hose, where it snaps into the machine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value for the price
I've never had a vacuum sealer before so hard to compare to, it's a little touchy at times, like it doesn't seal cause bag is not aligned properly or other reasons I can't always determine, fairly noisy don't do late at night. But sometimes it can be a faulty bag. But, It does the job and I'm getting use to it's quirks as I'm getting better at sealing foods (it's an art lol) good value for the money I'd say. It arrived intact and shiny as new. It also had a roll of bags. I never used one before and I was eager to start. Instructions are inside the machine. I made a bag by sealing the end and then put a slice of pizza in the bag. I placed it in the machine as instructed and sealed vacuumed the bag. DONE!! so great.
