Good surround sound wireless tv headphones
I wasn't expecting the world when I saw these advertised. I can't have my surround sound too loud or the neighbors will complain so I wanted something that had surround sound. Well the Sennheiser name is good in the headphone world so I went ahead and bought them. The headphones have a setting for the bass and a setting for the surround sound. The surround sound setting has two levels, moderate and full. Honestly it works pretty well. The vocals are forward so you can hear the dialogue while the ambient sound does surround you. It can be a little reverb heavy but all processed surround sound suffers from that. The headset is a bit heavy and bulky but not really to bad. You can go a whole movie without suffering from fatigue. Set up was easy, I used the digital connection since my tv had an optical port. It's a pass through so you do have to mute the volume on the tv or the receiver. It comes with a 3.5 MM port as well if you need to do analog. I haven't tested the range on the headphones but I really don't wander from the couch if I'm watching a movie. Overall I recommend these if you want to watch TV without rattling the windows and annoying the neighbors. Also if you're hard of hearing the headphones do a good job of isolating the dialogue so that would probably help. These have excellent sound quality, they are comfortable to wear, easy to use, and easy to recharge. I use these to watch TV and because my hearing has deteriorated over the years they enable me to hear clearly without turning up the volume and adding a lot of noise to the house. These are great!
I have tried several different brands and finally spent the money for these and I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner! They are comfortable and sound great. With the different sound options you can choose from on the headphones you can get it to sound better where with others you don’t have that option. I like these so much I have purchased 3 sets. The sound quality is very good, the volume is easly controlled and the ear pads are nice and soft. It was also easy to set up. The only thing I didn't like was that it had to much tension and smashed my ears. I finally bent the fram a little and now it fit's great.
