Vortex Crossfire 12x50
I was impressed with the quality right out of the box and couldn't wait to try them out. The first thing I did was take them out and compare them with my Nikon's which are 10x42's. I have to say that the Vortex was just a little bit sharper than my Nikons, with a brighter image. The glass pak case is ok but the harness straps are not very heavy and seems cheaply made to me. I will be using these primarily for deer and elk hunting and for spring shed hunting here in Montana. Great binoculars for the money!
Just got these in but WOW!...the clarity of the vision seen through the lenses is very, very good! Much better than I expected. Seem to be very well made, although I haven't taken them to the woods yet or subjected them to any harsh treatment...but I suspect they will hold up very well.
