Devanti Weather Station a Winner!
Physical put together - straight forward. Follow instructions, don't get ahead of yourself - just like any model building. Takes AA batteries for roof top setup and AAA batteries for Sensor information Screen Sensor info screen just needs a powerpoint and later wifi access. Sensors up on roof needs uninterrupted wind, sun and rain access. It has solar panel but doesn't like rechargeable batteries. Getting info from Sensor on roof to sensor info screen just starts working when you are putting them together. The real quality use of the device involves connection of info screen to WIFI and then internet. All your readings get thrown online for access from anywhere with some really cool graphs. The set-up for this is a bit clunky but google is your friend, the trick is to connect your device (phone,tablet or laptop) to wifi SSID of the sensor info screen. Then just a web page to the IP for access to the web page setup of the sensor The info sensor has built-in setup config for Ecowitt or Wunderground. It can also take some customs setups. I use Wunderground. It's great checking the weather or rainfall at home from across the country.
