I looked at most if not all the Ferguson grills that different sellers have and they are all pretty poor by my standards. It said in the ad to fit to the tractor. If you want a grill to fill the front of a work tractor it will do the job but if you are particular about fit and finish like I am then there is a a lot of rework. Starting with the louvers, they all have large sharp burrs on them from the die so those need to be taken off. At the bottom, it comes with the inner pivot bar welded in but the point of the bar is way off center from the grill point. There is a square hole at the top of the bar that is just hacked in there with a cut off wheel and it's not centered either. I removed the bar and am using my original but in order to do that the bottom has to be cut on each side so I can hammer and form the bottom more round to fit the original bar. The top and sides needed some help as well to fit the hood and sides. By the time I'm done I will have a grill that will look as good as the original which also had some faults. People in 1948 were not looking at that, they just bought it as a tractor and beat it up doing farm work. On the plus side the louvers will look OK and the steel of the grill shell is as thick as the original.
